Frontline Educators utilizes JB Learning as our primary delivery method for course materials. Our course requires the student to read each chapter before being permitted to complete other assignments within the chapter. Students must complete a reading quiz in order to unlock other content. JB Learning offers a variety of book options to include a hardcopy, an e-book, and an audio book to cater to the student’s individual learning style. Students are expected to complete all assignments in each chapter timely and without assistance from others or other online resources, such as Quizlet. All graded course material will be contained in JB Learning, except a midterm exam, which will be in person.
Some didactic lessons are provided in-person during lab sessions, such as skill and assessment tutorials and Mass Casualty Incident Management. These sessions will not be graded, but students are expected to be engaged in the material and participate in any practical exercises.
Didactic material is organized into chapters and modules. The modules have specified due dates by which all assignments within those modules must be completed. Students must score a cumulative grade of 75% or higher to successfully pass this course. Students must also obtain a score of at least 75% on the in-person midterm to continue with the course.
